Love & Charity Mission Inc.

Children in a classroom

Our Story, Our Mission, Our Vision

Dedicated to empowering children through education and holistic support.

Our Story

Love & Charity Mission Inc. was founded with a profound commitment to addressing critical social issues affecting children in our local communities. Our journey began with the recognition of significant disparities in educational access and resources, particularly for underserved populations. We observed firsthand the challenges faced by children from low-income families, including inadequate school supplies, limited access to tutoring, and a lack of supportive learning environments. These observations are supported by numerous studies highlighting the persistent achievement gaps and resource deficits in specific regions of North America.

Our Mission

Our core mission is to empower children through education and holistic support, fostering an environment where they can achieve their full potential and break cycles of disadvantage. We exist to provide tangible resources and unwavering encouragement to those who need it most.

Our Vision

Over the next 5-10 years, Love & Charity Mission Inc. envisions a future where every child in our target communities has equitable access to quality education and the resources necessary for academic success and personal development. We aim to significantly reduce educational disparities, increase graduation rates, and cultivate a generation of confident, capable, and community-minded individuals. Our long-term impact will be evident in stronger communities, reduced poverty, and a more inclusive society where every child's potential is realized.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Monitoring & Evaluation

Our M&E plan involves quarterly reviews of program data, annual surveys of beneficiaries and volunteers, and bi-annual external evaluations. Data collection tools include attendance logs, academic progress reports, feedback forms, and impact assessments. This ensures continuous improvement and accountability.

Operational Team Structure

Our team comprises a Principal (Larry Hunter Jr.), Program Coordinators (Education, Mentorship, Outreach), Volunteer Managers, and Administrative Staff. Each role has clearly defined responsibilities to ensure efficient program delivery and organizational effectiveness.

Volunteer Strategy

We attract volunteers through community partnerships, online platforms, and university outreach. Training includes child protection, educational support techniques, and cultural sensitivity. Retention is fostered through regular appreciation events, professional development opportunities, and clear communication of impact.

Resources & Technology

Essential resources include classroom spaces, computers, educational software, and transportation for outreach. We optimize their use through scheduling, resource sharing agreements with local schools, and leveraging open-source educational tools.

Initial Financial Mobilization

Our initial funding strategy focuses on grants from foundations, targeted crowdfunding campaigns, and corporate partnerships. We are actively seeking seed funding to establish core programs and build operational capacity.

Long-Term Financial Sustainability

After the initial 3-5 years, we plan to diversify revenue through sustained individual donor campaigns, planned giving, social enterprise initiatives, and expanding corporate sponsorships. This multi-faceted approach will ensure long-term financial stability and program continuity.
